Click Download for Mac above. Once downloaded, open the .dmg file and drag InstantFaceAI.app into your /Applications folder.
Because InstantFaceAI is distributed outside the App Store, macOS will block it on first launch. Use either method below to open it.
InstantFaceAI.appRun the command that matches your shell:
xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/InstantFaceAI.app
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/InstantFaceAI.app
Open Terminal via Spotlight (⌘ Space) → type Terminal → paste the command → press Enter.
On first launch macOS will ask for camera permission — click Allow. If you accidentally denied it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and enable InstantFaceAI.
Open Zoom, Meet, Teams, or any video app. In the camera selector choose "InstantFaceAI Camera" — the virtual webcam InstantFaceAI registers. Your swapped face will appear live to everyone on the call.
Click Download for Windows above. Once the .exe finishes downloading, double-click it to launch the installer and follow the on-screen steps.
Windows may show a "Windows protected your PC" SmartScreen dialog because the app is newly published and doesn't yet have a broad install history.
On first launch Windows will request camera access. Click Yes / Allow. If you need to change this later go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and enable InstantFaceAI.
Open Zoom, Meet, Teams, or any video app. In the camera settings choose "InstantFaceAI Camera". Your AI face will appear live to all participants.
In OBS, click + in the Sources panel and choose Browser from the list.
Inside InstantFaceAI, click the OBS button. A green badge will appear on the AI Output panel showing your local relay URL — it looks like:
http://127.0.0.1:8700/popout
8700) may differ — always copy the URL shown in the app badge, don't type it manually.
In the Browser Source properties, paste the URL and set width & height to match your stream resolution:
Always start your AI stream inside InstantFaceAI before activating the OBS output. The Browser Source will show "Waiting for stream…" until frames arrive.
Once you click OBS in the app, the relay starts and OBS fills with the AI output only — no app chrome, no UI, just the clean face-swapped video feed.
